Chapter 11 - THE NIGHT THOMAS DIEDRyan didn't deny touching the bottle.

He denied poisoning his father.

Thomas had collapsed in his study.

Ryan found him.

Linda told him to bring medication from the bathroom.

He grabbed several bottles.

One contained digoxin.

“I thought it was Dad’s.”

“Whose was it?”

“Mom’s.”

Linda had been prescribed it briefly years earlier.

Except pharmacy records showed she hadn't refilled it in four years.

Why was a fresh bottle in Thomas’s bathroom?

Mark accused Linda.

Linda accused Mark.

Ryan became the perfect physical link.

His fingerprints.

His presence.

His silence.

Then Caroline revealed the detail everyone missed.

Thomas had recorded a voicemail at 9:43 p.m.

His estimated collapse occurred around ten.

In the voicemail, he said:

Mark is here.

Mark denied it.

His alibi vanished completely.

Detective Alvarez reopened the death investigation.

The family war changed.

This was no longer inheritance drama.
