“You're admitting you're unstable.”
Daniel’s attorney disagreed.
“Accountability is not instability.”
Daniel stopped caring what Robert’s side thought.
Lily mattered.
One evening Lily knocked over a cup of milk.
She froze.
Daniel saw the fear.
Not of milk.
His reaction.
He calmly got a towel.
“Help me wipe it?”
She nodded.
Ten seconds later she was laughing.
